Employee Spotlight: Brandon Thayer Service Consultant, Advisor
Meet Brandon Thayer, Service Consultant, Advisor Brandon Thayer grew up in Petersburg, Michigan and attended Ida public schools graduating in 2001. Brandon’s father Dean is employed at GM Powertrain in Toledo and his mother Michelle is the owner of a dance studio in Toledo called “Dance FX”. After graduation from high school Brandon attended the University of Toledo and later Monroe Community College earning his degree in Applied Science and Automotive Engineering Technology. Combining his college degree and growing up with a father in GM Automotive manufacturing, Brandon has all the skills and background for his career in the automotive service business. What Brandon is most proud of in his life is having a loving family and staying healthy so he can really enjoy daughter, Madalynn with his wife, Nicole. In his spare time Brandon works on muscle cars and does woodworking. He loves building furniture and doing carpentry work in his home and just to relax he enjoys home theatre and action movies. When asked what he likes best about his job, Brandon replies, “I love the people, interacting with them and helping them solve their problems”. Brandon continues to work on his GM training certifications to better serve his customers. He is already achieved Bronze status in GM certifications and now he is working on Silver and Gold status. “Brandon is a great addition to our service team”, says Marianne Ballas. “He has a warm and friendly demeanor that really makes our customers feel comfortable, and he really knows about cars. That combination is a powerful force in our business and we are delighted to have Brandon Thayer on our Ballas service team of professionals”!
